I did not make this as I did not think I could find the gumbo File powder here, which I do not know what that is.
This recipe comes from 1967 Kansan`s Silver Spoon cookbook.
Tomato soup
Mrs Rose Humphrey
1 can tomato soup
1 teaspoon gumbo file powder
1 cup milk
Combine all ingredients and heat. Do not boil.
