pineapple Dessert

Sorry I missed yesterday recipe. but here is todays

Pineapple Dessert

1/2 pound vanilla wafers, crushed
1 1/2 pound confectioners sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained ( no. 2 can)
1/2 pint cream, whipped
1/2 cup nutmeats, broken optional

Combine vanilla wafers , sugar and butter or margarine. Add eggs and mix. Place layer of 1/2 crumbs in 8 x 4-inch pan. Spread layer of pineapple, then layer of whipped cream. Sprinkle with nutmeats over and cover with whipped cream. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
