This recipe is the award winner in the Salads and vegetables section of 1967

Party Salad
Miss Freda Schirley
3/4 cup tomato soup
3 packages cream cheese
2 packages lemon gelatin
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup celery ,chopped fine
1 cup cucumber chopped fine
1 green pepper, chopped fine
1 medium onion. chopped fine
1/2 cup stuffed olives, sliced
Heat soup in double boiler. When hot, add cream cheese and stir until smooth,. Dissolve lemon gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. When thouroughly dissolved, add 1 scant cup cold water. Add gelatin to hot mixture, When slightly cooled, stir in mayonnaise. When cool, add celery, cucumber,pepper, onion and sliced olives. (olives may be placed on top as decoration). Refrigerate either in flat glass dish or individual molds. Serves 10.
