first off

This blog is gonna have all kinds of recipes ,some from newspapers of the past,some from cookbooks from my vast collection or just recipes I have run across and sounded good.I will post whether or not I have tried this recipe or not .Their will be some recipes I will post that will probably be hard to find the ingredients that the recipe requires, like for instance ,oxtail, where on earth would you go to find an oxtail and which supermarket would carry it.
If the recipe has the name of the person who contributed it to the paper or book ,I see it only fair to provide that name of that person on this blog.My kitchen is in the ozark mountains and a simple kitchen,not elaborate as I would like but it still has running water, lol...a kitchen sink , a stove(propane),a frig,basically everything a kitchen needs. My dish washer is my own two hands and use of the sink .
I will also post some interesting facts from some of the papers ,but you do have to remember what year some of these things relate to.
