This dessert is yummy to say the least.....
Pear blush Crunch

5 cups fresh pears, sliced
1/4 cup water
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour, sifted
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup cinnamon candies ( red Hots is what I used)
Peel, core and slice pears into a greased 1 quart casserole. Pour water and lemon juice over them. Mix sugar, flour, and salt and cut in butter or margarine. Mix cinnamon candies. Sprinkle the crumb-candy mixture over pears. Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees. Serves 6.
