Triple Orange Ring Mold

This recipe is under salads, but I think it could be a dessert also...You do usually eat jello for dessert.

Triple Orange Ring Mold
Mrs. F. N. Replogle

2 package orange gelatin
2 1/2 cups boiling water
1 can mandarin ornages ( 11-oz), drained
1 pint orange sherbet

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add juice from orange. Mix well. When mixture is thick, but not solid, beat with rotary beater until frothy. Add sherbet and mandarin oranges. Blend well. Pour into 10-inch ring mold. Chill. Unmold when ready to serve and garnish with water cress. Serves6.
