Basically No-bake cookies...yummy. From 1968.
Chocolate Oatmeal Candy
Mrs. Jerry W. Franklin
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 stick margarine or butter
3 cups quick cooking oatmeal
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a full boil. Boil 1 minutes. Remove from heat, add oatmeal and vanilla, blend well and beat until mixture thickens. Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper. Makes 2 pounds.

Choclate Crunch No-Bake Cookies
Mrs. W. E. Kampmeier
1 stick margarine
2 sqaures choclate
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 small box grape nuts
Melt margarine and chocolate. Add sugar and milk. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla and grape nuts. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let stand about 1 hour.
