Fruit salad

Ok, I consider fruit salad to be somewhat of a dessert and a more healthy one to a point. This recipe is from 1967.

Fruit Salad
Mrs. Louis Heinrich

bananas
apples
1 cup walnuts
2 Tablespoons vinegar
2 Tablespoon flour
2 Tablespoon water
1 teaspoon mustard
1 Tablespoon celery seed
1/2 pint whipping cream
1 egg

Use equal amounts of apples and bananas. Combine egg, vinegar, water , flour, mustard and celery seed. Cook indouble boiler. Add whipped cream. Combine with bananas and apples and numteats. Salad should be made about 1/2 hour before serving as bananas will discolor.
